Positive: Great location, only 9 mins from Drancy RER station. Lots of restaurants and groceries and other shops nearby, some of these were open till late nighttime. For Muslim travellers (like us), the area was full of Halal food restaurants which was a bonus. The area also has a local market twice a week. Getting to the property was easy on foot from the RER station. Clear instructions for check in and Rostom thankfully agreed to us checking earlier that the usual check in time. A door code used to let us in then we found the key fobs inside. The accommodation was very good for our small family and matched the description in the advertisement. The girls loved having the upper floor to themselves. The house was very clean and tidy. A folder manual had all the info needed during stay in details. Comfy beds and well equiped kitchen. Lots of games (cards, dominos, puzzle, playstation). Again, for us as Muslim travellers, the bidet in the toilet and the prayer mat were super. Overall, nice place to stay and I would go back again when visiting Paris in the future.

Positive: La Maisonnette house was nice and the host was even nicer. What I liked about this house was that it's very large and very, very quiet. You do not hear any neighbors or street noise or the trains or anything like that. It's large enough for about four to five people. It was pretty clean but there were some areas that needed improvement. Also the host was very nice and he answered me right away when I needed help except one time when he was in a meeting for work. I also liked that there was a washing machine, a fridge, toaster, coffee machine (although I never used the last two), a functional kitchen with pretty much everything you needed to cook. I like that it had good Wi-Fi and a TV with games I believe because I never used the games, however, you need to figure out how the TV works. On the second level you have a computer and I believe you can use it. The bed was very comfortable. The extra pillows and extra blankets were a plus for me. I liked that the price of the entire house was low for one week compared to more central homes. To get to the Metra station it's an 8 -10 minute walk. From there, you take the train/metra for about 20 minutes to rich the center which for me was great. And lastly, on the weekends they have a big market on the big street adjacent to the small one.
Negative: What I didn't like about the place was, for example the kitchen stove knobs were dirty on the underneath where you don't see the dirt at first glence. The only time you notice is when you grab the knob to turn the stove on. Also the wall when you first enter, had some old stains of orange juice on it. Other than that, the rest of the house was clean. The toilet did not flush very well. Every time I flushed there was paper remaining in the toilet. There's a door cabinet next to the washing machine that comes apart every time you do laundry (because it is not affixed). It really didn't bother me much because I would put it back. One time the automatic key lock on the front door, did not work for me no matter what I did. I called the owner and he did respond right away and was able to give me a different code to enter the house. I didn't like that nothing had instructions of how they worked and I needed to find everything myself. For example the stove, it has a glitch, you need to learn how to turn it on and it took me a while. Also I didn't know there was a thermostat to warm up the house on the lower level. I finally found it on the 3rd day, and thank goodness I found it because it was cold outside and on the lower level of the house. Once you turn up the heat it's nice, but forget taking a hot shower right away. The shower runs out of hot water after a couple of minutes if the heat is on. Also if you're more than one person like myself, each of you will need to wait for the water to warm up again in order for the next person to take a shower, which can take about 30 minutes. One last thing I didn't like about the place was the location. As a single white woman, I did not feel safe after dark. I didn't feel I fit in. In spite of all these things, I think you will have a pleasant stay at this house considering the low price you pay. :)

Positive: Superb property. We stayed 2 nights and everything was perfect. The Maisonette is very well equipped with everything you may need, was very clean. Lots of little touches make it a lovely comfortable place to stay , flowers in the towels, nice toiletries, tissues etc. There are spices and condiments for use which is always very helpful and even an apron and rainmacs should we have needed them. Rostom was an excellent host and made sure the place was warm for us when we arrived. Thank you

Positive: Everything was well organized and kitchen was well equipped, and house was super clean.
Negative: Only I would say there were no blackout curtains in the downstairs bedroom.

Positive: First of all, Rostom was extremely responsive to all my messages and inquiries. From how to get around, to restaurant recommendations, etc. I had so many questions, and Rostom responded so quickly. Having a responsive and accommodating host is very important to me. It makes me feel confident in booking the place. The little house is charming, clean, and safe. Though the design of the house could have been better to maximize the space but it was still comfortable. The location of the house itself is nice and safe and walking distance to the train station. Once you're in the commercial areas, it could be chaotic and busy with people and cars, which is understandable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and we felt very safe with how many gates/doors you have to open/close to get to the house. And we slept well because the neighborhood is very quiet.
Negative: The bathroom and shower was a little tight especially for my husband and adult son but we made it work. The decorative shelving in the bedroom gets in the way sometimes so just be aware not to hit your head when you get up of the bed.
